Beck Archives Volunteers
David Fasman has informed us that the University of Denver Library is taking additional precautions due to recent incidents. The library building will be swipe-card access only for students and faculty.
David will meet everyone at 10:00 AM at the entrance and take the group down to the Beck Archives himself. Please be prompt.
He will return to the entrance at 10:15 AM to bring down anyone who arrives slightly later.
If you have trouble getting in, you may call David Fasman at 310-923-3606.
Please also plan on bringing a lunch to avoid the complications of going in and out of the building during the day.
Sorry to all of you who normally like to walk out for lunch.
And thank you for volunteering and doing this important work.
Volunteers Needed
We are continuing this very successful program.
We anticipate being completed by years end.
Please join us Monday April 27th 2026 at the University of Denver Beck Archives for JCRS Indexing
We need you to continue our success! We are so grateful for the time, skill, and heart you bring to this project.
As we review our current budget and plan responsibly for the year ahead, we need to temporarily pause our practice of covering lunch expenses for volunteer researchers. Please plan on either bringing your lunch or enjoying one of the several venues right on campus.
The ongoing JGSCO volunteer project at University of Denver continues through the Spring of 2026.
Please commit to joining us for one or more Mondays from 10 am to 3 pm with a lunch break
You will be helping with mitzvah work while learning about fascinating Denver history!
The goal is to create a full index to the complete JCRS patient application collection. You will read from historical records and key primary data into a spreadsheet provided by the archive.
